2017 - Twin Pines Junior Golf Program - Beginners  Application Form

June 13 - July 19, 2017: Five week program  (REGISTRATION BEGINS APRIL 1) 
Location: Twin Pines Golf Course
Cost: $65 per student (includes end of lesson session driving range punch card valid through the end of the 2016 golf season)
Tuesdays (June 13, 20, 27, July 11 & 18; no class July 4): one hour lesson; choose from the following-
8:30 am - 9:30 am
10:00 am - 11:00 am
11:30 am - 12:30 pm
Maximum 60 students per session...no more than 8:1 students/instructor ratio. 

Lesson make-up day if called for rain/storms: July 25.  Golf course play make-up day if called for rain/storms: July 26, 2017.
 

Wednesday June 14 - etiquette demonstration & game day PLUS cookout!  Other Wednesdays (June 21, 28, July 12, 19; no play on July 5) are set aside for juniors to play either 3 holes, 6 holes or 9 holes of golf, dependent on their age and ability. Learn golf etiquette, basic swing fundamentals, chipping, putting, safety rules and rules of golf. Call 286-5583 to register your junior golfer.  Upon completion of the 2017 junior program, each student will receive a punch card for driving range bucket rentals for continued practicing of learned skills.  This punch card is valued at $27.50.

      

LOANER CLUBS FOR LESSONS & WEDNESDAY PLAY DAYS ARE PROVIDED THROUGH THE STICKS FOR KIDS GRANT FUNDING.

Beginning golf classes: Fee is $109 per STUDENT which includes a punch pass for four (4) - 9 hole golf rounds and 4 driving range buckets at any of our golf facilities(valued at an additional $104.00) to be played during the 2016 golf season. Student to instructor ratio of 8:1.

Intermediate & specialty golf classes: Fee is $149 per STUDENT which includes divot tool and punch card for golf and driving range buckets for practice purposes.  Student to instructor ratio is 8:1.

Cedar Rapids Golf was a 2009 recipient of the National Recreation & Parks Association Sticks for Kids grant. Grant funded golf clubs will be used for the summer junior golf program at Twin Pines to enhance the learning experience of area junior golfers.
